The influence of good property photography on potential real estate buyers is beyond noteworthy, it is phenomenal. To say the least. Between 2008 and 2012 real estate searches on Google grew over 253% in just 4 years. 90% of all home buyers searched online in their quest for a new home. This according to a joint study from the National Association of Realtors and Google in 2012.
Fast forward to today. 96% of all home buying is initiated Online. More than 90 percent of all senior home (real estate) shoppers use the Internet. It is no secret that Online home images will sell a home faster. “Maybe better images will sell my home faster”, is no longer a in the equation of Home selling. It is darn close to being an Absolute, great images of my home will sell my house faster and draw the right buyers.
But please note this. Poor Online representation of your properties for sale can not only put off potential buyers from purchase of. But greatly damage the reputation of the posting real estate agency. Your potential buyers will immediately and without hesitation shop other agency websites offering better Online presentations with good realistic and informative Images. This includes skipping through your MLS listing to another because of the poor pictures posted on Flex or ARMLS…and others.
